Pluto TV Adds Kevin Hart LOL, NBC News Now and beIN Sports XTRA to Channel Line-Up

Stephanie Sengwe

Pluto TV announced the addition of three new channels. The ViacomCBS-owned platform will now host Kevin Hart LOL (Ch. 428), NBC News Now (Ch. 233) and beIN Sports XTRA (Ch. 486).

Kevin Hart LOL was founded by comedy star Kevin Hart and brings all the laughs from comedy legends as well as new and upcoming comics. The channel will offer original scripted series, stand-up specials and live broadcasts.

For those who want to keep up with current events, Pluto’s got you covered with NBC New Now. The channel will bring “deep reporting, thoughtful storytelling, and live, breaking news from the global resources of NBC News,” Pluto stated.

For sports fans, Pluto TV brings beIN Sports XTRA, featuring “live soccer, combat sports, adventure sports, original studio programming and an XTRA robust library of historically relevant sporting events.”

Pluto recently added the PGA Tour channel, giving watchers round the clock access to golf highlights. Before the merger with CBS, Viacom added 43 new channels to Pluto TV in the fourth quarter alone, including 24 Viacom branded channels. They also announced that Pluto TV Latino now had 22 channels, with over 4,000 hours of Spanish and Portuguese programming.

Viacom announced that Pluto TV is now being used by approximately 20 million users every month, up nearly 70 percent this calendar year. This boost is from the 18 million they announced in August, and 12 million active users when they acquired the company for $340 million last January.
