Disney+’s CGI animated series “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” will debut its seventh and final season on Feb. 21 and run through May 8. The 12 episodes will run weekly, building to its stunning conclusion.

The “Star Wars” franchise has propelled the new streamer’s popularity, starting with “The Mandalorian.”

The new “Clones” season, which is richly detailed, is set between “Attack of the Clones” and “Revenge of the Sith.”

The show is the brainchild of George Lucas, who created the “Star Wars” and “Indiana Jones” entities, and is also the founder of Lucasfilm.

The cast includes Matt Lanter as Anakin Skywalker, Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano, Dee Bradley Baker as Captain Rex and the clone troopers, James Arnold Taylor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan and Sam Witwer as Maul.
Other original Disney+ series include “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series,” “The World According to Jeff Goldblum” and the films “Lady and the Tramp” and “Noelle.”

Disney+ launched in the U.S. Nov. 12, 2019 and is projected to hit 25 million users by the end of the first quarter, according to Rosenblatt Securities. Since then, the Disney+ mobile app has garnered 40.9 million downloads on Apple’s app store and Google Play, reports Sensor Tower.
