The Best Ways to Stream The 2020 Super Bowl When Traveling Internationally Outside The U.S.

Jason Gurwin

If you’re outside of the U.S., whether you’re an expat or just traveling for work, you might be wondering how to watch the Super Bowl. While you can watch it on local TV, you will miss the FOX telecast with local announcers and the U.S. Super Bowl ads.

Fortunately, you can still watch the FOX telecast of Super Bowl LIV between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs, even if you are out of the country.

1. Subscribe to NFL Game Pass

While in the U.S., NFL Game Pass won’t be airing the Super Bowl, outside of it, you can live stream the FOX broadcast of the game. The game will feature the same U.S. commercials that you’re used to from the U.S. telecast, as well as the halftime show featuring Jennifer Lopez and Shakira.

2. Use a VPN to access your Live TV Streaming Service

Some customers have signed-up for Live Streaming service like fuboTV which is available with a 7-Day Free Trial. While customers outside the country are usually unable to these services, some fans have resorted to using a VPN to change their location outside of the local market to unblock the stream.

In some countries, like the UK, you may be able to watch live stream of the Super Bowl using a local streaming service. In Canada, the game will be streamed on DAZN with is available with a free trial.

Unlike NFL Game Pass though, you will hear the game with local announcers and locally televised ads.
