The First Starring Sean Penn Will Premiere at Midnight Tonight on Hulu

The latest big budget Hulu Originals series, The First, starring Sean Penn will premiere tonight exclusively for Hulu subscribers.

Sean Penn leads the cast in this near-future drama about a crew of astronauts attempting to become the first humans on Mars.

Under the direction of visionary aerospace magnate Laz Ingram (Natascha McElhone), the crew contends with peril and personal sacrifice as they undertake the greatest pioneering feat in human history.

Unlike many of Hulu Originals, all 8 episodes of the series will be available on Friday, September 14th at 12:01am ET, so you can binge away.

You will be able to get access to the show as a subscriber to Hulu or Hulu Live TV.

Hulu announced just yesterday that they lowered the price of their Hulu Limited Commercials plan for new and returning subscribers to just $5.99 a month (normally $7.99).
