These Are The HBO & Cinemax Live Feeds Available on YouTube TV with HBO Max & Cinemax Add-ons

Jason Gurwin

In February, WarnerMedia reached an expanded a distribution deal with YouTube TV that would bring HBO Max and Cinemax to the platform. Starting today, you can now sign-up for HBO Max ($14.99) and Cinemax ($9.99) as part of your YouTube TV ($50) subscription.

For subscribers on YouTube TV, you will get HBO (and HBO content) natively in the YouTube TV interface, however to get HBO Max shows like Friends and Max Originals like Anna Kendrick’s “Love Life” — you’ll need to install the HBO Max app. Once there, you can log-in with your YouTube TV credentials to access the app.

YouTube TV subscribers will also get access to live linear feeds of HBO and Cinemax, when they sign-up for the HBO Max or Cinemax add-on respectively. For the primary HBO and Cinemax linear channels, customers will get both the East and West coast feeds, however, the rest of the channels will be based on your market.

In total, HBO subscribers will get 8 linear channels, while Cinemax subscribers will get 9 linear channels. Both add-ons are available with a 7-Day Free Trial to existing YouTube TV subscribers.
