This month, Tubi debuts new film “Crushed,” an original YA comedy. A hot guy at school (Nicholas Alexander Chavez, “General Hospital”), innocuously likes a high-strung girl’s Instagram photo (Bebe Wood, “Love, Victor”). She then carries out crazy schemes to connect with him — until her obsession spirals out of control.
Also on board is the Alfred Hitchcock 1960 classic “Psycho,” which set the tone for generations of horror thrillers with a murderous psychological twist. Norman Bates and the Bates Motel became part of cinema history — as did the brilliantly edited shower scene.
