What’s New on TV Tonight (4/29/2020): Stream ‘Normal People,’ ‘Sistas,’ ‘Boomerang’ and More
Shake off that hump day slump with some comedies on TV tonight. BET is airing the season finales of “Sistas” and “Boomerang.” On “Sistas,” Andi’s life turns upside down as Karen finds herself having to fight for her life. The finale for “Boomerang” takes place in two back-to-back episodes. At 10 p.m. ET, Dave begins to have out of body experiences after partaking in a seven-day religious fast. In the following episode, Tia ramps up things in her activism as well as her relationship.
On FXX’ “Dave,” the titular character finds himself in a conundrum he created, while “Normal People” premieres on Hulu, which leads viewers into the complex relationship between schoolmates Marianne (played by Daisy Edgar-Jones) and Connell (played by Paul Mescal).
