SCOOP: These Are When Black Panther, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and Other Films Will Arrive on Disney+

Yesterday, Disney+ made an early debut in the U.S. as the streaming service gears up to officially launch next Tuesday, November 12th. While most titles were unavailable during it’s early launch, according to a source, ~20 titles were listed in the App that won’t be available when the service launches.

For those titles, the Disney+ App displayed when the movies will arrive on the streaming service. Most of the movies are currently streaming on other services like HBO and Netflix. For Marvel fans, there’s some good news and bad news. Black Panther will be arriving on Disney+ next March, while Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 won’t be coming until June 2021.

Other recent titles that will be coming to Disney+ in the coming years is Mary Poppins Returns and The Jungle Book which will join the service in January 2021 and May 2021 respectively.

Despite missing a few titles, the first year will include 25 new original series, 10+ movies, 7,500 past episodes, 100 recent movies, and 400 library titles including the entire Disney Vault. The company announced 6 original shows and movies that will be available at launch, including Star Wars spin-off “The Mandalorian.”

Starting with the 2019 theatrical slate, all Disney/Pixar/Marvel/Star Wars films will become exclusive to Disney+ meaning movies like the live-action versions of Aladdin, The Lion King, Captain Marvel, and now Avengers: Endgame will only be available to stream on Disney+.

The app will support unlimited downloads, four simultaneous streamers, up to 7 profiles, 4K streaming, and includes hundreds of avatars.
