YouTube TV Adds FOX LiveNOW and FOX SOUL Channels

YouTube TV has added two more channels to its lineup: FOX LiveNOW and FOX Soul.

LiveNOW is described as a non-stop stream of breaking news, live events, and stories taking place across the nation. The service is available for free on a number of other platforms, including Tubi.

FOX SOUL is a new live and interactive streaming channel aimed at the African American audience. The programs allegedly “celebrate black culture and deal with real topics that impact the everyday lives of the black community through frank and insightful dialogue with local and national influencers.” This channel is also available on free platforms like Xumo and Tubi.

If you use the “custom” live channel guide on YouTube TV, you may need to add the channels manually - go to your settings, and scroll to the bottom, where you’ll find the new channels.

Right-wing media outlets like FOX have become a staple on many free streaming services. Pluto TV alone offers channels like NewsMax, Blaze Live, America’s Voice, The First, and OAN Plus. There’s never been a better time to see a host standing in front of a computer-generated flag talking to a Very Angry Person over Zoom.

FOX lawyers recently argued successfully that “no reasonable viewer” would take Tucker Carlson seriously.

The company has been aggressively expanding its video services, especially since Disney scooped up the 20th Century Fox entertainment assets.
