Popcornflix Review
Popcornflix is an OTT service offering free ad-supported streaming video of feature-length movies, webisodes, original content, and film school originals.
The service is completely free, however, ads run every 15 minutes and last a minimum of 30 seconds long. Some content is available to rent ad-free for $0.99.
The platform is owned by Screen Media Ventures. In 2017, Popcornflix and its parent company were acquired by Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment.

We tested Popcornflix and other subscription streaming services for more than 100 hours. Popcornflix is compatible with Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Roku, Android TV, iPhone/iPad, Android Phone/Tablet, Mac, Windows, PlayStation, Xbox, Sony Smart TV, and VIZIO Smart TV.

Featuring entertainment options from Screen Media Ventures, LLC, Popcornflix has 1,500+ free films and TV titles. Aside from Hollywood blockbusters, users can access on-screen documentaries, foreign films, horror, and a number of other genres. A lot of the animated content dates back to the 80s and 90s.
Overall categories include Action, Comedy, Crime, Drama, Sci-Fi, Sports, Thriller, and more. Popular titles include “The Hunter,” “The Devil Inside,” “Prom Night,” “Blitz,” “Blood and Money,” and more.

Users must enter their birthday to prove they’re 18+ before getting access to R-rated content.
Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, Disney+, Max, Hulu, Netflix, Paramount Plus, Peacock, Paramount+ with SHOWTIME, and STARZ also have parental control features.
