Apple TV+ Plans to Add CBS & Showtime Discounted Bundle

According to a report by Bloomberg, Apple plans to launch a discounted bundle for Apple TV+ subscribers as soon as Monday.

The deal would allow Apple TV+ subscribers ($4.99 a month) to receive CBS All Access ($9.99) and Showtime ($11.99) for just $9.99 a month. The report was not clear whether or not the bundle would include CBS All Access ad-supported ($5.99) or ad-free plan ($9.99), but currently the ad-free option is the only one available through Apple TV Channels.

ViacomCBS already offers a $3 discount for CBS All Access subscribers to add Showtime to their existing ad-supported ($14.99) and ad-free ($18.99) plans.

This comes on the heels of the relaunch of CBS All Access, but that ViacomCBS does not plan to bundle Showtime content directly into the service. Last November, it was reported that Showtime was interested in bundling their service with others .

The Roku Channel offers a discounted bundle of Showtime and STARZ for $16.99 (normally $21).

Ahead of the launch of Apple TV Channels, there were rumors that the company was trying to bundle HBO, Showtime, and STARZ for just $9.99 a month. Given that HBO Max itself is $14.99, that always seemed like it would be a hard sell.
