DIRECTV STREAM Offering Free Preview of NBA League Pass Through October 26

With the NBA kicking off its 2021-22 season on Tuesday, October 19, DIRECTV STREAM subscribers will get access to a sneak peek of NBA League Pass through October 26. Even if you don’t subscribe to DIRECTV STREAM, League Pass is available for anyone with a free 7-day trial.

DIRECTV STREAM’s most basic package includes 31 of the top 35 cable channels.

How to Get a Free Preview of NBA League Pass Premium

NBA League Pass Premium is available to DIRECTV STREAM subscribers to watch every out-of-market game of NBA teams. It gives fans access to out-of-market regular-season NBA games – commercial-free and with both home and visiting team feeds to choose from for each game.

Nationally televised games that air on ABC, ESPN, TNT, and NBA TV will be blacked out from the service.

For fans to subscribe to NBA League Pass for the upcoming season, they will just need to visit NBA.com to subscribe.

NBA League Pass 2021-22 Plans

What’s The Difference Between NBA League Pass Plans?

Team Pass includes live and on-demand HD telecasts of a single team, while League Pass includes every team. If you upgrade to League Pass Premium, you’ll also get access to an in-arena stream during commercial breaks.

With all plans, you can choose the home and away feed. They also have in-stream advanced stats, so you can check the players’ and teams’ performance without leaving the stream. After the game, you will have access to full-length and 10-min condensed replays. For those games that are blacked out, you will get on-demand access 3 days after the broadcast.

Adding NBA TV to your NBA League Pass subscription adds another 100 games to the package, since nationally televised games on NBA TV, ABC, ESPN, and TNT, as well as games available in your local market, are blacked out.

NBA League Pass

For basketball fans, NBA League Pass offers the opportunity to follow one team or the entire league with every game (blackout restrictions apply). Prices and features vary greatly, depending on what you’d like to watch.

Subscriptions include Home and Away broadcasts, Mobile View, plus additional languages and camera angles. You’ll also get in-stream advanced statistics so you can check the box score and get live stats on players and teams without ever leaving the stream.

The NBA offers three plans: “Team Pass” ($13.99) provides great options if you only want to follow a single team.

“League Pass” ($14.99) lets you see every game across the entire league.

The “League Pass Premium” ($22.99) plan provides the option to watch on 3 devices without commercials.

You can also save by subscribing for the full season. It’s $89.99 / year for the Team Pass, $99.99 / year for the League Pass, or $149.99 / year for League Pass Premium.

NBA League Pass is also available as an Amazon Prime Video channel.
