Disney Plus Announces ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Will Be Available on November 12 Launch Date

Today, Disney+ announced via Twitter that Avengers: Endgame, the Marvel film that surpassed $2.2 billion at the box office worldwide, will debut on their upcoming streaming service on its November 12 launch date. The film was originally released in theaters on April 26th, meaning it will appear on the service just 6.5 months later.

The news comes as a pleasant surprise to Marvel fans since Disney originally announced Avengers: Endgame would debut on December 11.

Disney unveiled in April that their streaming service will debut in the U.S. on November 12 at $6.99 per month, or $70 per year ($5.83/month). Disney+, which many have dubbed a “Netflix-killer,” will expand internationally to Europe, Asia and Latin America starting early next year and continuing through the end of 2020.

Starting with the 2019 theatrical slate, all Disney/Pixar/Marvel/Star Wars films will become exclusive to Disney+ meaning movies like the live-action versions of Aladdin, The Lion King, Captain Marvel, and now Avengers: Endgame will only be available to stream on Disney+.
