Tubi Kids is launching a new animated series “Search and Explore” geared to kids ages 2 to 8.
The goal is to making learning fun and increase knowledge in key subjects: science, technology, engineering, art, math, music, social studies and literacy.
The series, from Age of Learning, a digital educational tech company, is based on the popular “Search and Explore” book series and characters from ABCmouse Early Learning Academy. Now, the focus is turning the platform’s curriculum success into long-form stories.
“Search and Explore” launches on the free streamer with eight original episodes. More seasons are scheduled for this summer.
Each episode is a new adventure with ABCmouse and best friends 1•2•3 Mouse and Do-Re-Mi Mouse to global destinations. Kids hike the Grand Canyon, jump over the Statue of Liberty’s hidden broken chains and learn the history of the Great Wall of China.
“As Age of Learning continues to expand our educational content and technology, we are also expanding the ways we reach children in the U.S. and globally,” said Age of Learning CEO Paul Candland. He believes the series can “help children build a love of learning.”
Tubi CEO Farhad Massoudi added: “ABCmouse content provides significant value to our customers.”
To extend its streaming reach, Tubi Kids has expanded its content library to iOS users. The AVOD boasts more than 1,200 age-appropriate movies and television shows.
