Sling TV announced that, starting today, they will be available on the Google Nest Hub, as well as the Nest Hub Max, expanding Sling’s footprint to more than 20 platforms, including smart TVs, tablets, game consoles, computers, smartphones, VR headsets and other streaming devices.
With smart displays, Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max allow users to control Sling with their voice or use their voice to cast Sling to a Chromecast-connected device via a smart speaker or mobile device. The Nest Hub is available for $129, while the Nest Hub Max is available for $299. For users who are new to the platform, Sling is offering a free, a 3-day free trial.
In October, Sling announced that they added support for Chrome on Android devices. Prior to the announcement, customers could stream on Android using the Sling TV Android App, but not in the browser. Android devices with Chrome (version 56) and above are supported.
Sling TV is also compatible with Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Android TV and Xbox consoles, as well as iOS, Android and your browser.
For new customers, Sling TV has a special promotion, which will give your first month of Sling Orange or Sling Blue for only $15 a month (normally $25).
