YouTube TV Drops Showtime to $7 a Month

Some YouTube TV subscribers reported this morning that the service had quietly dropped the price of Showtime to just $7 a month. The premium network used to cost $11 a month to add to your YouTube TV subscription.

It appears that existing subscribers will have to cancel and re-add their Showtime subscription to get the new price.

YouTube TV customer service shared that this is a permanent price change for Showtime on the service.

This comes as services like Hulu Live TV offered promotional pricing for the channel. They are offering Showtime as an add-on to Hulu for only $4.99 per month for 3 months (when it will go back to $10.99 a month).
