Apple TV+ Will Allow Streaming Across Entire Your Family’s Devices

Apple TV+ is showing that it will be a formidable competitor in its own right. The company announced that the streaming service will allow streamers to watch on up to 6 family members’ devices to watch their favorite programs at the same time. This is in addition to offline mobile and tablet viewing.

In comparison, Disney+ allows four simultaneous streams on 10 different devices, in addition to unlimited offline mobile and tablet viewing. Netflix permits you to register six devices to your account, and will allow two to four streams at a time depending on your plan. Amazon Prime on the other hand, allows users to stream a maximum of three different titles on three different devices simultaneously. Hulu, lets users register as many devices as they wish. However, only one device can stream at a time for Hulu On-Demand programming while Hulu With Live TV allows a maximum of two streams at a time.

Apple TV+ is set to launch on November 1, and will cost $4.99/month. When you purchase a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV you will receive 1 year subscription to Apple TV+ for free.
