Just in time for Black Friday, AT&T has added three new channels to AT&T TV NOW. The streaming service now offers HSN, QVC and QVC2 - which have joined a Live TV Streaming Service for the first time. Though they’ve been offered via the QVC/HSN app for free for some time, AT&T TV NOW subscribers won’t need a separate app to access them now.
These additions are a change in pace for the streaming service, which has been marred with complaints from customers after a string of price hikes. In October, AT&T TV NOW alerted their customers that packages will be increasing starting November. Depending on their plans, users saw their bills increase from $55 to $85 in the course of a month, while others went from $35 to $65. Their Live a Little plan went from $50 to $60; Just Right was $65 and is now $75; Go Big was $75, now it’s $85; Go Big (Early Adopter) was $50 and nowis $60; and Gotta Have It was $85, it’s now $95.
The same applied to AT&T TV NOW PLUS & MAX Plans, with the NOW PLUS plan increasing to $65 (from $50), while the MAX plan increased to $85 (from $70), starting on November 19.
When asked about the price increases, an AT&T Spokesperson told The Streamable, “We’re adjusting our pricing to reflect the cost to deliver content to our customers. Customers can contact us at any time to review their plans or make account changes.”
