Disney Plus Launches Discounted Early Presale in Denmark, Sweden, Portugal and More Ahead of Sept. 15 Launch

Disney+ will be expanding its reach in Europe come September, and the company is offering up a deal for their anxious customers. The service is slated to launch in Belgium, Portugal, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark on Sept. 15 and the company has a presale offer that’s hard to resist.

Starting today, users in those territories can preorder the service for the introductory price of €4.99/month or €59.99 annually. The standard subscription price is typically €6.99/month or € 69.99 for an annual subscription. The offer is available till Sept. 14.

At launch, subscribers will get access to more than 25 exclusive Disney + originals, including the renowned, Emmy-nominated series “The Mandalorian” as well as other high visibility series such as “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” and “The World According to Jeff Goldblum.

Fans will also be treated to “The Imagineering Story,” and original feature films exclusive to Disney + such as “Togo,” “Stargirl,” “Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made,” as well as the live-action reboot of “Lady and the Tramp.”

News that Disney+ would be moving into more European territories was revealed by company CEO Bob Chapek back in May. Chapek revealed the streaming service will begin to roll out in Japan in June and then in additional markets in Europe — the Nordics, Belgium, Luxembourg and Portugal — in September and then in Latin America towards the end of the year.

The service has seen major success since launching in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria and Switzerland on March 24. It also became available in India on April 3.
