Disney Plus Re-Enables ‘Continue Watching’ Feature Across Devices, Including Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV, iOS, Android, & Smart TVs

After a supremely successful launch, which forced Disney+ to disable features like “Resume”, “Restart”, and “Continue Watching”, the company has been re-enabling the features for streamers.

Last week, Disney+ added back “Resume” and “Restart” to its platform, and now its re-enabled the “Continue Watching” feature. Similar to other services like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ now shows a row on your home screen of shows and movies you’ve recently started watching.

The features appears to be available across platforms including Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Xbox, PS4, iPhone, iPad, Android, Samsung Smart TV, LG Smart TV, and Web.

When Disney+ launched on Nov. 12 for just $6.99 a month, it was downloaded 3.2 million times to mobile devices and reached 10 million sign-ups merely 24-hours post launch.

One of the top selling points of Disney+ is that customers can opt to subscribe to the service as part of a bundle package that comes with the ad-supported tier of Hulu, as well as ESPN+. Customers can get the for $12.99 a month, which is $5 less than if you subscribed to each service separately. With the bundle, you can get the three services for the same price as Netflix.
