Opening night is sure to be one to watch as top speakers include former first lady Michelle Obama and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York, and convention chairman Bennie Thompson are also on schedule to speak, among a host of others. Speeches are expected to be lauded with messages of hope and earnestness as the country is currently in the middle of a global pandemic and racial tensions have once again, reached a boiling point.
Later on in the week, Attorney General Sally Yates, Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, former President Bill Clinton, Senator Elizabeth Warren, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former President Barack Obama, Senator Cory Booker, Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and Andrew Yang are among speakers on the program.
