Hulu Now Has 1 Million Live TV Subscribers

Hulu Live TV launched with 50 live channels in May 2017. A little over 16 months later, the service now has more than 1 million subscribers.

Over the past year, the service has added new features like their Live Guide and 60 fps support, hundreds of new local affiliates, and even recently announced that they will be adding Discovery later this year.

To grow the service even further, the company premiered a new ad campaign during last night Emmys called Never Get Hulu.

The ads starring many top stars including Sofia Vergara (Modern Family), Samira Wiley (The Handmaid’s Tale), Sarah Silverman, Remy Youssef (Mr. Robot) tell viewers to “Never Get Hulu. With Live TV + tons of shows and movies, it’ll ruin TV for you forever.”
