The NHL announced that the NHL.TV streaming service has added more video content for the 2018-2019 season. The most noticeable update for fans will be access to nearly 50% more local pregame, postgame, and live intermission shows.
Just like last season, you will be able to select home or away broadcasts, watch multiple games at the same time, select camera angeles, and pause and rewind live games.
Fortunately, pricing has remained the same this season. NHL.TV will be priced at $139.99 for the entire season or $109.99 for a season pass to a single team.
The NHL App has been refreshed and will now have a companion Apple Watch app.
New Team Pages
As part of the update, fans will be able to more quickly access video highlights of their favorite team on redesigned team pages.
The new P.I.P. player will let you watch clips while you are browsing news articles and the app.
No Spoiler Notifications
Subscribers will be able to turn off in-game notifications for the games that don’t want spoiled.
NHL Apple Watch app
Launching soon, the app will include game notifications, summaries, events, and scoreboard on Apple Watch devices.
In-Arena Info
Fans attending games will be a able to have access to venue information with schedules, maps, and amenities.
