Apple Releases First Trailer for Apple TV+ Show, ‘For All Mankind’, A Space Race Drama by Ronald D. Moore

Apple kicked off their World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) with the first trailer for an upcoming show for Apple TV+, their upcoming Netflix and Hulu competitor. The show, “For All Mankind” follows 1960’s space race, in a show by “Star Trek” and “Battlestar Galactica” writer Ronald D. Moore.

At the event, Apple also announced new features for their Apple TV devices coming in tvOS13 — the latest version of their operating system. The update will come this Fall and will make the device feel more personalized and modern

In March, Apple announced the streaming video service, which will be released this Fall. Apple unveiled some of the details of the shows upcoming on their new streaming service, but did not reveal pricing for the ad-free service. At the earlier event, creators like Oprah, J.J. Abrams, Steven Spielberg, and Kumail Nanjiani, as well as the stars for the upcoming series like Reese Witherspoon, Steve Carrell, Jennifer Aniston, Jason Momoa, and Alfre Woodard took the stage to tease the new shows.

‘AMAZING STORIES’

An anthology series by Steven Spielberg that features unreal fantasy and horror stories like Twilight Zone or The Outer Limits.

‘THE MORNING SHOW’

A TV drama about the rivalry of morning TV shows and interpersonal politics between genders in the workplace starring Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, and Steve Carrell.

‘SEE’

A TV drama starring Jason Momoa & Alfre Woodard that takes place in “a future when the human race has lost the sense of sight, and society has had to find new ways to interact, to build, to hunt, to survive. All of that is challenged when a set of twins with sight is born.”

‘LITTLE AMERICA’

An anthology series by Kumail Nanjiani following the human stories of immigrants around the country.

‘HELPSTERS’

A preschool focused series by Sesame Street Workshop that helps kids learn coding skills.

‘LITTLE VOICE’

A TV drama by J.J. Abrams & Sara Bareilles about a young woman who has to find her voice as a musician and a person as an up-and-coming artist.
