Apple TV App Now Available on Fire TV Stick, With Other Fire TV Devices Coming Soon

Apple TV+ launches on Nov. 1 and Apple is making sure it gets to as many people as possible. After launching on Roku last week, Amazon announced today that the Apple TV app will now be available on Fire TVs in over 60 countries.

Starting today, the Apple TV app will be available on the Fire TV Stick (2nd Gen) and Fire TV Stick 4K, as well as Fire TV Basic Edition Smart TVs. While not available immediately, it will also be coming to Fire TV Cube (1st and 2nd Gen), Fire TV (3rd Gen pendant design), Fire TV Edition smart TVs, and Nebula sound bar soon.

Users have access to their iTunes library, including all of TV shows and movies that are already purchased or rented from Apple. When Apple TV+ launches, they’ll also have access to its seven original series including The Morning Show, For All Mankind and See as well as the movie Elephant Queen.

There is built-in Alexa support to find shows on Apple TV+, so you can say “Alexa, watch Dickinson” or “Alexa, find dramas” to see Apple TV+ content in search results.
