fuboTV is one of the only Live TV Streaming Services that offers AT&T Sportsnet Southwest, the regional sports network in Houston. For the first time however, the service is taking a page from a cable company playbook and will charge a Regional Sports Fee in the Houston market.
All new customers in the Houston market will be charged $5 a month Regional Sports Fee, which more or less is for AT&T Sportsnet Southwest. This isn’t an optional fee, so even if you don’t watch the channel you will still be paying the fee.
The good news is that all existing subscribers in the Houston market, won’t have to pay the additional Regional Sports Fee. If you move to that market though, they will start charging that fee.
For fuboTV customers is other markets, the streaming service says they have “no current plans to charge fuboTV customers a regional sports fee in other markets.”
Even with the additional fee, it is still the least expensive option to stream the channel. Your only other option is AT&T TV NOW Max Plan which is $80 a month. With the additional fee, you can get the Standard Plan in Houston starting at $64.99 a month, or Family Bundle at $69.99 a month.
