Since becoming the first Live TV Streaming Service to stream 4K events with the FIFA World Cup in 2018, Fubo remains the only service to offer 4K streaming. Since they’ve since expanded to include MLB, NASCAR, College Football, and College Basketball.
While they have added 4K coverage of Thursday Night Football for the upcoming NFL season, one sport noticeably missing is English Premier League. Last season, fuboTV had nearly 2 games per week of English Premier League in 4K. However, since the start of the season in August, there hasn’t been any 4K coverage.
It appears that Comcast, who owns NBC and NBCSN, which airs the English Premier League — has shifted the 4K telecasts exclusively to X1 cable subscribers. While that could change later in the season, as of right now fuboTV does not have any Premier League games on their 4K schedule. Xfinity will be televising seven Premier League games in 4K through September, as well as two Notre Dame football games.
