Hulu Now Let’s You Stream on Two Screens at Once

While it was rarely enforced, before today you could technically only stream on a single screen with Hulu’s on-demand service. Today, the company officially updated the policy which now allows you to stream on two devices at the same time.

This matches the stream count of their Hulu Live TV service which has supported two simultaneous users since launch. For Live TV viewers, subscribers can also pay $9.99 a month to view on Unlimited Screens inside the home.

In February, Hulu dropped the price of their VOD streaming service which includes network shows, as well as their original programming to just $5.99 (was $7.99). The ability of stream on more than one device allows it to be much more useable across the entire family.

Just last week, the company announced that they now have over 26 million paid subscribers, adding more than double the subscribers of Netflix in the U.S. this quarter. In comparison, Netflix's pricing is: single screen for $9, two screens for $13, and four screens for $16.
