Martin Scorsese Signs Deal With Apple TV Plus, Sarah Paulson Headlines Hulu’s ‘Run’

Martin Scorsese, the director of “Taxi Driver” and “Goodfellas,” has signed a first-look TV and film deal with Apple TV+. At present, he’s filming “Killers of the Flower Moon” for the streamer, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro. Any future work is in concert with Scorsese’s Sikelia Productions banner.

At Hulu, Sarah Paulson will star in the thriller “Run.” Pulled from a theatrical release on May 8 by Lionsgate, it will stream as a film, directed by Aneesh Chaganty (“Searching”). Paulson plays the sinister mother of a daughter in a wheelchair, a tale of motherhood gone wrong. There is no Hulu date yet, but some global markets will carry a theatrical release of the movie.

Here’s a look at other deals and upcoming projects:

He proposes the affected students be sent to the highest-performing schools, including his alma mater.

  • Will Forte stars in the “MacGruber” TV series, Peacock’s newest satire. The action comedy is based on the “SNL” sketch that parodied “MacGyver,” and the 2010 movie of the same name.

  • Former Google employee Sarah Cooper, who grabbed social media with her lip-syncs of Trump’s wacky pandemic cures, has snagged a Netflix special, directed by Natasha Lyonne (“Russian Doll”). Her comedy special, “Sarah Cooper: Everything’s Fine,” will premiere this fall.
