On the binge front, Syfy is offering two marathons: “Battlestar Galactica” and “Xena: Warrior Princess” during April, reports Deadline.
The marathons will be hosted by their stars, Tricia Helfer and Lucy Lawless, respectively, and will include surprise guest appearances.
Six seasons of “Xena,” that’s 134 episodes, will air every Thursday morning and afternoon, beginning April 16. The four-season, 76-episode “Battlestar Galactica,” including the two-part miniseries and movies “Razor” and “The Plan,” kicks off April 20 at midnight ET through April 23 at 9 a.m. ET.
Both series are immediately available to stream via Syfy.com and NBCU’s OneApp.
Along with “Xena,” Lawless also had recurring roles in “Parks and Recreation” and “Salem.” Helfer played Cylon model Number Six in “Battlestar Galactica” from 2004-2009. She also voiced Sarah Kerrigan in the StarCraft video games.
Syfy Wire’s podcast “Battlestar Galacticast,” hosted by Helfer and writer/journalist Marc Bernardin, is available via Syfy.com and major podcast platforms. On Monday, April 20, the podcast offers a cast reunion and a live reading of “33,” the pilot episode.
