Disney+ is kicking off “Summer Movie Nights” on July 3. Movie theaters may not be open, but big-screen viewing is still streamable.
The line-up of family favorites that comprises “Summer Movie Nights” begins with the much-anticipated “Hamilton,” the filmed version of the Tony-winning musical. For those who couldn’t see it on Broadway, this is a chance to be in the room where it happened.
The movies run every Friday night through September 4.
Also showcased are three “X-Men” films: “X-Men,” “X-Men: Days of Future Past” and “X-Men: Apocalypse.” “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” in which Captain Jack Sparrow (a deliciously over-the-top Johnny Depp), will be featured on July 24.
