fuboTV Improves Series Recording Feature on Apple TV, So You Can Now Record Re-Runs of Your Favorite Shows
In late April, fuboTV added the ability to record an entire series of a show to Apple TV. Before the update, customers could only record an individual episode one at a time, meaning that if you wanted to watch every show of Big Bang Theory, you’d have to manually remember to record it every week.
When it first rolled out, the feature was limited to just being able to record new episodes — meaning that if you wanted to record classic shows like Seinfeld or Friends, you were out of luck. But with the latest update of the fuboTV app on Apple TV, you can now choose whether you want New Episodes or New Episodes & Reruns.
While the series recording feature has rolled out across devices, the ability to record re-runs is only available on Apple TV for now.
By default, when you set a recording from the Guide, it will now record All Episodes. However, if you go to a Show page, you can choose “New Episodes & Reruns or New Episodes Only*.
For existing series recordings you’ve already set-up, you can update your selection by going to Recordings, selecting the show, and choosing Manage Series.

How fuboTV DVR Compares to Other Services
fuboTV Standard Plan ($55) includes 30 Hours of storage, but their Family Bundle ($60) includes their Cloud Plus DVR which allows you to record up to 500 Hours.
Unlike services that offer an Unlimited DVR like PlayStation Vue and YouTube TV which will let you keep your content for up to 28 Days or 9 Months respectively, there is no time limit on saving recordings on Fubo.
