Mike Nelson
Mike is the General Manager of The Streamable and has been running recommendation websites since 2009. He cut the cord in 2014 and is a Utes football fan despite living in SEC territory. He currently streams on a TCL 4K 65” and his favorites to watch include “Inception,” “Big Fish,” “Back to the Future,” and “New Girl.”
Experience:
With a history in scaling technologies and communities, Mike comes from serving as VP of Growth for VTEX (where he helped take the company public) and Global Director at Lonely Planet (where he led digital strategy and global partnerships). Mike’s first success was SkinCareRx, a site that covered beauty tips and skincare products – reaching the Inc 500 list before selling to private equity in 2012. Education:
Mike holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a degree in business and marketing from the University of Utah.
