ESPN+ Launches ESPN+Mas, A New Section Dedicated to Spanish-speaking Audiences

Starting today, ESPN+ will have a new section dedicated to Hispanic and Latino fans titled ESPN+MAS. This new section includes a curated and growing collection of more than 1,300 live events, 100 30 for 30 documentary titles, and at least 1,000 hours of studio shows focused on serving Hispanic and Latin American fans in the US.

ESPN+ subscribers who utilize ESPN+MAS can find English- and Spanish-language commentary of all 380 LaLiga Santander matches each season, along with hundreds of matches from Mexico’s Liga MX and Liga MX Femenil, Bundesliga, Copa del Rey, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, MLS, Eredivisie and more. They will also be able to easily access sports leagues like the UFC, Top Rank Boxing, Major League Baseball, PFL, and more.

ESPN Deportes will also have a large presence on the platform, as shows like Somos AfroLatinos, SportsCenter Reportajes, Galacticos, United States of LaLiga, Jorge Ramos y su Banda, Futbol Americas, and Fuera de Juego will be easily accessible from the ESPN+MAS menu.

You can also expect more Hispanic and Latino-themed content coming in the future. “Along with the section’s launch, a new creative campaign will also debut across ESPN, Disney, and external digital and linear platforms to build awareness among Hispanic and LatinX fans and showcase all the content ESPN+ offers in both English and Spanish,” ESPN said in their introductory press release.

There’s been no word yet on if ESPN+MAS or an equivalent will appear on Star+ in Latin America, but considering that platform is tailored to each individual nation, a curated selection of programming may not be necessary. Star+ launched in multiple Latin American countries earlier this month.

ESPN+ is compatible with Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Roku, Android TV, iPhone/iPad, Android Phone/Tablet, Mac, Windows, PlayStation, Xbox, LG Smart TV, Samsung Smart TV, Sony Smart TV, and VIZIO Smart TV.
