The trailer for Ridley Scott’s “Raised by Wolves” is now out. The 10-episode sci-fi series streams on HBO Max beginning September 3.
The series is about two androids helping to raise human kids on an alien planet. The androids discover the job is tough — especially since the humans fight over religious and personal differences. To secure a peace, the androids try to manipulate the humans’ thoughts and relationships.
The cast includes Travis Fimmel, Amanda Collin, Abubakar Salim Winta McCrath, Felix Jamieson and Ivy Wong, among others.
The Oscar-nominated Scott (“Alien,” “Gladiator”) is the executive producer, as well as the director for the first two hour-long episodes. Aaron Guzikowski (“Prisoners,” “The Red Road”) doubles as writer and showrunner.
“Raised by Wolves” is Scott’s first directed TV show since his work for the BBC in the 1960s. He also executive produced “The Man in the Castle.”
