On August 22, ACC Network (ACCN) will be the latest college sports network to launch from a major college conference. ACCN is a collaboration between the ACC and ESPN to bring 24/7 programming on the ACC member schools like Duke, Miami, Clemson, Florida State, Syracuse, and UNC.
ACC Network announced that they will be available on PlayStation Vue, Hulu Live TV and YouTube TV. As of right now, the channel won’t be available on Sling TV, and while they have a deal with DIRECTV, it won’t be on their streaming service AT&T TV NOW. For cable subscribers, while they have a deal with Charter and Verizon, they don’t currently have one with Comcast.
ACCN will air 40 football games per season, more than 150 men’s and women’s basketball games, and 200 other regular-season competitions. Streamers who have access to ACC Network, will also get access to their overflow channel ACC Network Extra (ACCNX), which will have 400 additional live events this fall. You can use your TV Everywhere credentials to ACC Network Extra (ACCNX) through the ESPN App.
Streaming services have had particularly strong carriage of major college sports networks like Big Ten Network and SEC Network. Both PlayStation Vue, Hulu Live TV and YouTube TV each carry BTN and SEC Network, while Fubo carries Pac-12 Network and BTN.
