About ‘Shark Tank’

While the basic premise of Shark Tank is likely familiar to most, this season will throw in some new twists. As ever, Shark Tank features the return of several big-name investors and business figures. Returning to the show are familiar faces Kevin O’Leary, Lori Greiner, Mark Cuban, and Barbara Corcoran.

This season, the Sharks will also be joined by a new face: Emma Grede. She represents the first black female Guest Shark on the show, and will bring her expertise as co-founder of SKIMS and fashion brand Good American to evaluate the various products on display.

The first episode alone will feature a range of products for the Sharks to consider buying in on. It’s a good thing Grede is there, as there will be several fashion-forward developments to be had. Reports note that one development will feature a whole new way to manufacture clothes. Another will boast a new way to store jewelry while traveling, and still another will offer a complete line that focuses on “hair care and protection.”
