Pluto TV Launches 2 New Channels, Plus Special Halloween Programming

Pluto TV has launched two new free strearming channels: one for soap opera lovers, the other for little kids - or at least folks who can’t get Baby Shark out of their heads.

Pluto TV Soaps (Channel 146) will give fans their soap opera fix, not just during the daytime, but at any time of the day. Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful, pick your brand of soap, sit back and enjoy.

Kids can get nursery rhymes, bedtime lullabies, classic fairy tales, and more from Baby Shark TV (Channel 989). The channel is perfect for pre-schoolers.

Pluto TV also has more fun lined up for Halloween, including a Doctor Who spooky episodes marathon on Halloween night on Doctor Who Classic (Channel 532). In addition, you can find a different horror movie every night on Pluto TV Horror (Channel 75). You can also follow along with your favorite witch sisters during the Charmed mini-marathons on Pluto TV Drama Life (Channel 139).

Pluto TV

Pluto TV is a free live TV streaming service that provides more than 350 channels of live TV and thousands of on demand movies and TV shows.

Most of what you’ll find on Pluto TV qualifies as “background television.” It’s fine to keep on while you’re scrolling on your phone or cooking something in the kitchen.

Because these aren’t traditional live TV channels, it’s not a great option for live events, news, or sports, but it’s a solid choice for cord cutters who want to supplement their other services with some “comfort food” TV. You’ll find channels dedicated to “Star Trek,” “CSI,” “Jersey Shore,” “Survivor,” and “The Amazing Race.”

Here’s a schedule of other Halloween events leading up to the spooky night:

Oct. 23 - You can go back to the beginning and watch the start of the complex relationship between FBI Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and forensic psychiatrist Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen). You can watch all of Season 1 of Hannibal starting at 8 pm ET on Pluto TV Crime Drama (Channel 350)

Oct. 27 - Ahead of the Oct. 28 Season 2 premiere of Walker on The CW, Pluto TV is showing a Walker Texas Ranger marathon along with your favorite Chuck Norris movies on TV Land Drama (Channel 130), starting at noon ET.

Oct. 29 - It’s been 18 years since the original Call of Duty was released in 2003. From Oct. 29-31, you can watch tons of Call of Duty game videos on Gameplay: Call of Duty (Channel 819).

Plus, all month long you can watch true crime documentaries, followed by movies based on those true crimes, starting at 8 pm ET every day on Pluto TV True Crime (Channel 365). Fans can watch their favorite episodes of True Life weekdays starting at 4 pm ET on Pluto TV Lives (Channel 276). Finally, real-life stories can be found on episodes of 48 Hours from noon to 4 pm ET weekdays on Pluto TV Lives (Channel 276).
