Last season, Amazon become the official streaming partner of Thursday Night Football paying a reportedly $50 million for 11 games.
Yesterday, Amazon announced that the deal has been extended for two additional seasons through 2019. Just like the previous deal, Amazon Prime members will be able to watch Thursday Night Football games on Amazon.
However, a major change is that all 11 games this season will be simulcast on Twitch without the need of a Prime membership.
The 11 games will air between weeks 4 and 15 and will be simulcast on FOX and NFL Network. Earlier this year, FOX paid ~$550 million/year through 2022 for access to Thursday Night Football.
To access the games on Amazon, you can sign-up for a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime Video today.
