‘Justin Bieber: Seasons’ Docuseries Coming to YouTube

YouTube Originals has teamed with singer Justin Bieber for “Justin Bieber: Seasons,” a 10-part docuseries debuting Jan. 27 at noon.

This is a homecoming for Bieber, who kick-started his career on the streamer in 2007. He now claims 47.8 million subscribers on YouTube. Bieber has also sold an estimated 150 million records worldwide, with over 44 million in the U.S., according to the Recording Industry Association of America.

“Justin Bieber: Seasons,” which is an intimate look at the making of his first album in four years, highlights how the artist creates music. It includes a behind-the-scenes look at his work, as told by close friends and collaborators, as well private aspects, such as his wedding and daily life.

The Grammy winner also shares his thoughts about growing up in the limelight. Bieber will executive produce the series.

“I want my fans to be part of this journey,” he says. Suzanne Daniels, global head of original content for YouTube, adds the purpose of YouTube Originals is to “spotlight authentic struggles and real-life triumphs.”

An ad-sponsored version of “Justin Bieber: Seasons” is free to viewers, with new episodes each Monday and Wednesday. Users with YouTube Premium, at $12-per-month, can watch ad-free.
