Netflix’s ‘Dirty Money’ Turns Camera on Jared Kushner’s Financial Dealings

The finances of Jared Kushner, President Trump’s adviser and son-in-law, will now be a Netflix documentary, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Kushner’s financial dealings will be examined in the second season of Netflix’s documentary series “Dirty Money.” The six-episode series is from Alex Gibney’s Jigsaw Productions and returns March 11. Gibney, who won an Oscar for “Taxi to the Dark Side,” has earned numerous awards for his piercing documentaries, including Emmys for “Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief.”

One of the upcoming “Dirty Money” episodes, “Slumlord Millionaire,” details Kushner’s real-estate empire and the tenants who have talked openly about his company’s suspect practices.

The Kushner episode is directed by Dan DiMauro (“Get Me Roger Stone”) and Morgan Pehme, executive director of EffectiveNY, a nonpartisan government watchdog group.

The streamer describes the series as “untold stories of scandal, financial malfeasance and corruption” in the world of business.

Other subjects addressed in the second season of “Dirty Money” include “The Man at the Top,” a look at the 1MDB corruption scandal in Malaysia, while “The Wagon Wheel” addresses the Wells Fargo fraud scandal. The gold from illegal cartel mines, which ultimately finds its way to financial institutions, exploiting vulnerable seniors and regulatory crimes by plastics producers will also be addressed.
