How to Watch Pixar’s Soul on VIZIO Smart TV with Disney Plus

The latest Pixar film is skipping theaters and heading straight to Disney+. The animated movie follows Joe Gardner (Jamie Foxx) a middle school teacher with a love for jazz. After an accident, he is transported to the place that souls develop. He must get help from other souls-in-training like 22 (Tina Fey) to get back to earth. You can stream the movie with your Disney+ subscription at no extra charge on Christmas Day.

How to Stream Pixar’s Soul on VIZIO Smart TV

Disney+ is available natively using VIZIO Smart TV. Additionally, you may be able to stream to your VIZIO Smart TV through Apple AirPlay (2016+ models) or Google Cast (2016+ models).

Disney+ app on VIZIO Smart TV

  1. Click here to sign up for Disney+.
  2. Once you’ve signed up, go to the Home Screen on your VIZIO Smart TV.
  3. Launch the app store and search for “Disney+” on your VIZIO Smart TV.
  4. Select “Add to Home” to install the app.
  5. Once installed, log in using your Disney+ credentials.
  6. You can now stream Disney+ on VIZIO Smart TV.

Apple AirPlay

  1. Click here to sign up for Disney+.
  2. Install the Disney+ iPhone/iPad app.
  3. Once installed, log in using your Disney+ credentials.
  4. Make sure your Smart TV is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone/iPad.
  5. Start playing the content in the Disney+ app and select the AirPlay icon.
  6. Choose your VIZIO Smart TV and it will start displaying on your Smart TV.

If you have a compatible TV and you don’t see AirPlay as an option, make sure you update to the latest VIZIO Smart TV firmware.

Google Cast

  1. Click here to sign up for Disney+.
  2. Install the Disney+ iPhone/iPad app or Android Phone/Tablet app.
  3. Once installed, log in using your Disney+ credentials.
  4. Make sure your Smart TV is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android Phone/Tablet or iPhone/iPad.
  5. Start playing the content in the Disney+ app and select the Google Cast icon.
  6. Choose your VIZIO Smart TV and it will start displaying on your Smart TV.

Can You Stream Pixar’s Soul on VIZIO Smart TV For Free on Disney+?

Pixar’s Soul is included in your Disney+ subscription at no extra charge.

If you are not a subscriber, unfortunately Disney+ no longer offers a free trial. You can subscribe to the service for $6.99 a month, or $69.99 a year. You can also subscribe to the Disney Bundle for $12.99 a month, which includes Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+.

Joe Gardner is a middle school teacher with a love for jazz music. After a successful gig at the Half Note Club, he suddenly gets into an accident that separates his soul from his body and is transported to the You Seminar, a center in which souls develop and gain passions before being transported to a newborn child. Joe must enlist help from the other souls-in-training, like 22, a soul who has spent eons in the You Seminar, in order to get back to Earth.
