The countdown to Super Bowl LIX is on, with the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles set for a highly anticipated rematch on Sunday, Feb. 9, at 6:30 p.m. ET in New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome. The Chiefs, led by Patrick Mahomes, are chasing history as they aim to lock-in their NFL dynasty status with another championship win. Meanwhile, the Eagles, with Hurts leading the way, alongside newly acquired Saquon Barkley, are looking for redemption after falling short in their last Super Bowl meeting. With both teams stacked with talent and plenty of storylines leading into the game, this showdown is shaping up to be one of the biggest in years.

For NFL fans, the most important thing to know about the 2025 Super Bowl is that it’s airing live on Fox. And that means there are plenty of streamers airing the game and plenty that aren’t. First, let’s cover all the streamers that won’t stream Super Bowl LIX.

All the streamers you cannot watch Super Bowl LIX on

You can’t watch the Super Bowl on Prime Video

While Prime Video did air “Thursday Night Football” games, as well as the first-ever Black Friday game during the regular season, it will not carry the 2025 Super Bowl. This is because the broadcast rights are owned by Fox. Last year, you could watch the Super Bowl on Prime Video with a subscription to Paramount+ with SHOWTIME because CBS had the rights and was simulcasting a stream of the live game to Paramount+. Fox doesn’t have its own subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) service like CBS does, and instead, will be streaming the game for free on Tubi. All that is to say you can’t watch the Big Game on Sunday with Prime Video.

You cannot watch Super Bowl LIX on Peacock

Peacock is the subscription video streaming service from NBCUniversal, which means if the game was airing on NBC, you’d be able to watch it with Peacock. But as Super Bowl LIX is on Fox, Peacock will not carry a livestream of the Big Game on Sunday. It does carry a lot of sports though, including NFL, MLB, WWE, Olympics, Premier League, NASCAR, French Open, College Football and Basketball, and PGA Tour golf.

You can’t stream the 2025 Super Bowl on ESPN+

ESPN+ is a great streaming service for sports fans, offering everything from UFC fights and college football to soccer, golf, and exclusive documentaries. But if you’re hoping to stream Super Bowl LIX on ESPN+, you’re out of luck. Fox holds the exclusive rights to broadcast the game, which means ESPN+ won’t be showing it live. While ESPN+ is home to plenty of football content, including select Monday Night Football games and alternate broadcasts like the “ManningCast,” it does not provide full access to every MNF matchup, nor does it include live broadcasts of the Super Bowl or most other NFL playoff games.

You cannot watch the Super Bowl on Netflix

Netflix has started streaming some live sports, including two NFL games on Christmas Day 2024, but it doesn’t have the rights to any NFL playoff games or the Super Bowl. If you’re hoping to watch Super Bowl LIX on Netflix, it’s not going to happen – Fox has the exclusive broadcast rights, so the game won’t be available on Netflix at all. Keep reading to see where you can watch the Big game.

You can’t watch Super Bowl LIX on Paramount+

Last year, you could stream the Super Bowl on Paramount+ because CBS had the broadcast rights and made the game available to its subscribers. But this year, Fox owns the rights to Super Bowl LIX, which means Paramount+ won’t be streaming it at all. Unlike CBS, Fox doesn’t have a paid streaming service like Paramount+, so instead, they’re making the game available for free on Tubi. If you were hoping to watch the Super Bowl on Paramount+ again this year, you’ll need to find another option.

You cannot watch the 2025 Super Bowl on Max

Max has been expanding into live sports with its B/R Sports Add-On, which gives subscribers access to NBA on TNT, NHL games, MLB on TBS, NCAA March Madness, U.S. Soccer, and more. But if you’re hoping to watch Super Bowl LIX on Max, you can’t - Fox owns the exclusive rights to this year’s game, so it won’t be available on the platform. While Max is a great option for basketball, hockey, and baseball fans, you’ll need to find another way to watch the Big Game.

Watch Super Bowl LIX with these streamers

The 2025 Super Bowl will air live on Fox. Now, Fox doesn’t have its own subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) service, so the best options will be Fox’s ad-supported video-on-demand (AVOD) service, one of five live streamers, or NFL+ on mobile. Keep reading and I’ll break down all the streamers you can watch the 2025 Super Bowl on.

There are plenty of ways to stream Super Bowl LIX live this year, whether you want a free option or a premium live TV service. The game will air on Fox, meaning you can watch it with a live TV streaming service like Hulu + Live TV, DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo, YouTube TV, or even Sling TV (in select markets). If you’re on the go, NFL+ lets you stream the game on mobile devices, but it won’t work on your TV. But, if you’re looking for the easiest and most affordable way to stream Super Bowl LIX, there’s a clear winner.

Tubi is the best way to stream the 2025 Super Bowl for free, offering a 4K Ultra HD simulcast of Fox’s broadcast with no subscription required. All you need is an account, and you can watch on your TV, laptop, or mobile device without spending a dime. Before the game, Tubi will also host “Tubi Red Carpet at Super Bowl LIX,” a special pregame show covering celebrity appearances, fashion, and all the biggest moments leading up to kickoff. Since Fox typically doesn’t offer its live sports through a dedicated streaming platform, this marks a big shift in Super Bowl streaming, making Tubi the easiest and most cost-effective way to catch the action.
