How to Watch NFL Football Games Live Without Cable in 2025
Best Way to Watch Every NFL Team without Cable
At The Streamable, we love football and saving money. We’ve tested all the live TV streaming services for each NFL team to help you find the one that’s right for you. The best way to choose a live sports streaming service is to check our streaming guide for your favorite NFL team.
How to Watch Local & National NFL Games
This season, NFL games will air on traditional TV channels, as well as streaming-exclusive outlets. For most games, Hulu Live TV is the most straightforward option since it includes ABC, CBS, ESPN, Fox, NBC, and NFL Network. You have the option to add NFL RedZone. Hulu Live TV includes free ESPN+.
Most National Football League (NFL) games air on CBS for AFC teams and FOX for NFC teams. Sunday Night Football airs on NBC and Peacock, Monday Night Football airs on ESPN, ESPN+, and ABC, and Thursday Night Football airs most frequently on Amazon Prime Video.
In 2024, NFL Network is the exclusive home for four international games in London and Munich, while Peacock will carry an exclusive game from Brazil.
To watch NFL on CBS, NFL on FOX, Monday Night Football on ESPN and ABC, and NFL Network international games online without cable, you will need a subscription to one of the major Live TV Streaming Services.
You can choose between DIRECTV STREAM, Sling TV, Fubo, Hulu Live TV, and YouTube TV.

Once you subscribe, you will be able to stream your local NFL games on Apple TV, Roku, Amazon, Fire TV, Chromecast, iOS, and Android.
Not every live streaming service has locals in every market. Fortunately, at least one streaming service includes the main CBS or FOX affiliate in the local market of every NFL team.
2024 NFL Regular Season:
TBD
Amazon Prime Video
If you want to stream Thursday Night Football, it will be streamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, which is available with a 30-Day Free Trial. If the teams are playing in your local market, the game will also be simulcast on a local affiliate, which can be watch via antenna or on a Live TV Streaming Service.
Paramount+
Additionally, Paramount+ provides an option for AFC fans to get their local CBS games for only $7.99 / month. This is the cheapest option to get some games of your favorite AFC team.
Peacock
If you want to stream Sunday Night Football, it will be simulcast on Peacock Premium, which is available for $7.99 / month (free for Xfinity subscribers).
NFL+
NFL+ is a new streaming service that combines the features of NFL GamePass and mobile streaming of live local telecasts.
With a subscription to NFL+, you will be able to watch all regular season and playoff games available in your local market on your mobile phone and tablet. NFL+ also includes live radio broadcast and NFL library programming on-demand, ad-free. You can use NFL+ to watch NFL Network on your TV.
If you upgrade to NFL+ Premium, you will also get all NFL games on-demand, immediately after they air, which can be viewed across all devices including Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV, Chromecast, and your Smart TV. Premium also includes NFL RedZone on any device, including your TV.
During the preseason, with both plans, you can watch all out-of-market games with NFL+, but if you want out-of-market regular season games, you’ll need NFL Sunday Ticket.
NFL+ is $6.99 / month or $29.99 / year for the entire season. If you upgrade to NFL+ Premium, it is $14.99 / month, or $79.99 / year.
OTA Antenna
Since most games are on local TV, you also have the option of just using an OTA antenna to get CBS, FOX, and NBC. We suggest the Mohu Leaf 30 (30-mile range) or Mohu Leaf 50 (60-mile range).
How to Watch NFL RedZone Channel
NFL RedZone
One of football fans’ favorite channels is NFL RedZone. Instead of showing an entire telecast of a single game, it switches around between every game to show those with the most action.
DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo, Hulu Live TV, Sling TV, and YouTube TV all offer NFL RedZone, as part of a $10-15 Sports add-on.
With both Fubo and Sling TV you will also get NFL Network, NBA TV, MLB Network, and NHL Network.
If you want standalone RedZone, you can sign up for NFL+, but at $14.99 / month, and the lack of night games on Thursday, Sunday, and Monday, you’re probably better off with another provider.

How to Watch Out-of-Market Broadcasts
NFL Sunday Ticket Online
If you live away from your favorite team, you can subscribe to Sunday Ticket to stream out-of-market games online. The service comes with unlimited at-home streams, condensed game replays, and multiview viewing.
NFL Sunday Ticket costs $119.75 / month as a standalone subscription or $158.99 / month when bundled with YouTube TV.
