NFL games in 2026 will air on both traditional TV channels and streaming-exclusive outlets. More than ever before, streamers like Netflix, Peacock, and Prime Video are getting exclusives that you won’t find on traditional networks.
For most games, however, a live TV streaming service like our top pick, DIRECTV, will get you everything you need to watch, including CBS, NBC, Fox, and ESPN.
If you’re just looking to watch the majority of games this season and aren’t tied to a specific team or games, a live TV streaming service is the best option, so just sign up and be done. If you want specific teams or games, read on for more on how to watch everything.
Most National Football League (NFL) games air on CBS for AFC teams and FOX for NFC teams. Sunday Night Football airs on NBC and Peacock; Monday Night Football airs on ESPN and ABC; and Thursday Night Football most frequently airs on Prime Video. ESPN Unlimited will also feature a select few games.
To watch NFL on CBS, NFL on FOX, Monday Night Football on ESPN and ABC, and NFL Network international games online without cable, you will need a subscription to one of the major Live TV Streaming Services.

Prime Video - Thursday Night Football
If you want to stream Thursday Night Football, it will be available exclusively on Prime Video. If the teams are playing in your local market, the game will also be simulcast on a local affiliate, which can be watched via antenna or on a live TV streaming service.
Paramount+ - Simulcast of CBS games
Additionally, Paramount+ offers AFC fans the option to stream their local CBS games for only $8.99 / month. This is the cheapest option to get some games of your favorite AFC team.
Peacock - Sunday Night Football (NBC)
Sunday Night Football will also be simulcast on Peacock Premium, so if you don’t have NBC, this is a great option — plus you’ll get loads of other movie and TV content included.
Netflix - Thanksgiving & Christmas Day games
In addition to the international opener in Australia, Netflix is hosting a game on Thanksgiving, two on Christmas Day, and one last matchup in week 18.
ESPN
Select NFL games will also be available through ESPN Unlimited thanks to a partnership with the NFL, which will soon bring NFL Network games to the platform as well. Currently, you can bundle your NFL+ Premium subscription for access to these games as well as NFL RedZone.
NFL+
NFL+ is a streaming service that combines the features of NFL GamePass and mobile streaming of live local telecasts.
With a subscription to NFL+, you will be able to watch all regular-season and playoff games available in your local market on your mobile phone and tablet. NFL+ also includes live radio broadcasts and on-demand NFL library programming, ad-free. You can use NFL+ to watch NFL Network on your TV.
If you upgrade to NFL+ Premium, you will also get all NFL games on demand immediately after they air, available across all devices, including Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV, Chromecast, and your Smart TV. Premium also includes NFL RedZone on any device, including your TV.
During the preseason, with both plans, you can watch all out-of-market games with NFL+, but if you want out-of-market regular-season games, you’ll need NFL Sunday Ticket.
NFL+ is $6.99 / month or $29.99 / year for the entire season. If you upgrade to NFL+ Premium, it is $14.99 / month, or $79.99 / year.
Using an over-the-air (OTA) Antenna
Since most games are on local TV, you can also use an over-the-air (OTA) antenna to get CBS, FOX, NBC, and other local channels. An OTA antenna connects directly to your TV, allowing you to receive network channels over the air without any app or subscription. How to watch the NFL RedZone channel
One of football fans’ favorite channels is NFL RedZone. Instead of showing an entire telecast of a single game, it switches between games to show those with the most action.
If you want a standalone RedZone, you can sign up for NFL+, but at $14.99 / month, and the lack of night games on Thursday, Sunday, and Monday, you’re probably better off with another provider.
If you live away from your favorite team, you can subscribe to Sunday Ticket to stream out-of-market games online. The service comes with unlimited at-home streams, condensed game replays, and multiview viewing.
