Paramount+ is available via a direct subscription, and there are a couple of methods of getting the service for free as well.
Will Paramount+ be joining more bundles soon? It’s entirely possible; the Paramount Skydance ownership team now in charge of the streamer has explicitly stated it’s on the hunt for more bundle opportunities for its streaming service. There are no deals in the offing as of the time of this writing, but such bundles could easily be on the way in the future.
In the meantime, however, there are still several methods of signing up for Paramount+ — including a couple that will allow you to watch the streamer for free! Check out all the ways you can sign up for a Paramount+ subscription below.
What are all the different ways to get Paramount+?
Directly
Heading to the Paramount+ website is the easiest and most direct way of getting a subscription. Using the Paramount+ website will ensure you get the service’s seven-day free trial if you’re a new customer, and you can choose between either of the streamer’s plans. The ad-supported Essential plan costs $9 per month or $90 per year, and the ad-free Premium plan costs $14 per month or $140 per year.
Free from Spectrum TV
As of Aug. 2024, Spectrum TV customers could add Paramount+ at no additional cost with a TV Select plan. Spectrum TV isn’t available everywhere, but in markets where it can be found, its TV Select plan with Paramount+ and other streaming services included starts at $100 per month. Viewers get the ad-supported Paramount+ plan free with a Spectrum TV Select subscription, not the ad-free plan.
As a Prime Video add-on
If you’re a Prime Video customer, you can sign up for additional subscriptions and keep all of those invoices on the same bill. Paramount+ is one of the subscriptions you can sign up for in this way, and you can get either the ad-free or ad-supported plans of the service with a free trial. However, it doesn’t appear that annual subscriptions of Paramount+ are available on the service.
As a benefit of Walmart+
Finally, customers can choose to receive a free Paramount+ subscription by signing up for Walmart+. This $98-per-month subscription service includes exclusive discounts on Walmart products, free two-day shipping on products from Walmart.com, and viewers can choose to receive either the ad-supported plans of Paramount+ or Peacock when they sign up.
Paramount Plus
Paramount+ is a subscription video streaming service that includes on-demand access to 40,000+ TV show episodes from BET, CBS, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., and more. Get free access with a Walmart+ subscription.
Paramount+ includes “1883,” “Tulsa King,” “Star Trek: Discovery,” “SpongeBob SquarePants,” and “PAW Patrol.” Subscribers can watch the NFL, college football, The Masters, college basketball, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, Serie A, and NWSL. The service also offers the option to watch your live CBS affiliate. The upgraded ad-free package includes premium movies and shows from Showtime.
