Does Hulu offer any audio languages besides English?
We checked out Hulu to see which languages you can watch its TV shows and movies in, and the results may disappoint some viewers.
Despite the fact that Disney+ and Hulu are both owned by Disney, they serve pretty distinct audiences. For one thing, Disney+ is available in many countries and territories around the world, whereas Hulu is only available in the United States. That means that features on the two services can vary widely in terms of the viewers they cater to.
But does that mean Hulu offers a limited number of audio dub options? We checked out the audio accessibility choices available on Hulu, and we have all the details you need here.
Everything you need to know about audio accessibility on Hulu
How to change audio languages on Hulu
It’s pretty easy to switch up your language on Hulu. Just start playback on the title you want, then pull up the playback controls. Seek out the gear-shaped icon that pulls up the audio and subtitle settings; this is located on the bottom-right of the screen on the Hulu smart TV app and the web, and in the top-right corner on the Hulu mobile app.

What languages are available on Hulu?
I was relatively surprised to find that while exploring Hulu’s library, the service didn’t offer any languages besides English and English with audio descriptions. I tested 10 different shows and movies, and consistently found this to be true across all of them. This makes a certain amount of sense given that Hulu is only available in the U.S., but I still found it disappointing.
Digging a little deeper into the Hulu library, I found that the streamer does have a Spanish-language content hub. It’s got a wide range of shows and movies originally recorded in English but dubbed in Spanish, but it does not incorporate the entire Hulu library. I also had to search for it manually.
I checked for other non-English language hubs, but I didn’t find anything besides the Spanish collection in the Hulu catalog.

Will Hulu add more languages in the future?
It’s possible, especially if Disney decides to launch Hulu globally in the future. Now that the company owns 100% of Hulu, it has a lot of options for distributing the service more actively.
Can you watch Hulu titles in different languages on Disney+?
No. I checked out the Hulu content hub on Disney+, which has more language options on its own titles, but I didn’t see these same choices available on Hulu titles.
