Top choice for watching MLB Network without cable: Sling TV
Sling TV doesn’t carry MLB Network in its base channel packages, so you’ll have to get the Sports Extra add-on pack to receive the network.
Sling TV base plans start at $46 per month, and even with Sports Extra for $11 more, your monthly rate will rise to only $57. If you go for the Sling Orange package, you’ll be able to see any MLB events on ESPN. Choose Sling Blue, and you can watch any games on FS1 or Fox in the markets where the latter channel is available with a Sling subscription.
Sling’s Orange and Blue package combines the networks of both plans, and TBS is available with all Sling base plans. With options to stream MLB Network starting at $57 per month, Sling TV is the cheapest way to watch the channel.
Second choice to stream MLB Network: DIRECTV STREAM
Our second option for streaming MLB Network is DIRECTV STREAM and its new MySports package. This plan comes with 20+ channels, including local broadcast networks and sports-related channels including ESPN, FS1, TNT, and more for $70 per month. It also includes MLB Network, along with other channels affiliated with leagues like NFL Network, NBA TV, and NHL Network.

Third choice to stream MLB Network: Hulu + Live TV
MLB Network comes in the base package of Hulu + Live TV, so there’s no need to buy any kind of add-on pack. Its packages start at $82 per month after a three-day free trial, but if you pay $83 per month you can get MLB Network and unlock the Disney Bundle at no extra cost. That means you can watch an out-of-market MLB game nearly every day with your ESPN+ subscription until the end of the 2025 season.
Final choice to stream MLB Network: Fubo
Fubo falls to fourth on our list, but it’s really only because of the cost of streaming the channel there. You’ll only find MLB Network on the Elite package, which starts at $95 per month. That price doesn’t include the $16 regional sports network fee that almost all Fubo customers have to pay with the Elite plan, however, bumping the cost to $111 per month. You will get Fox and FS1, however, along with your MLB team’s RSN partner in most markets, so you can watch your local team all season long in addition to MLB Network.
