Paramount+ has a large library, but can you stream any of its favorites in Ultra-High-Definition?
With all the merger madness in the rearview mirror, Paramount’s new ownership team can get down to business working on Paramount+. The streaming service might see a big overhaul in the near future, but for now, viewers can still watch TV shows and movies in its library the same way they’ve been able to for years.
Does the bevvy of features that come with a Paramount+ subscription include the ability to watch its TV shows and movies in 4K? We’ll give you the answer to that question, complete with copious details, below.
Can you watch Paramount+ in 4K?
Does Paramount+ have any 4K titles?
Yes, for certain. Paramount+ puts many of its newer original shows and blockbuster movies in 4K for select customers. Older titles from decades past, such as “The Twilight Zone” won’t always be found in 4K on Paramount+, but many of its newer titles do offer the ability to stream in Ultra High Definition.
Viewers will see the 4K badge on a show or movie’s detail page when they use the Paramount+ app if that title allows 4K playback.
