The 108th running of the Indianapolis 500 is finally here, live from Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indiana. Coverage begins across NBC and Peacock on Sunday, May 26 at 11 a.m. ET, with the race set to start at 12:45 p.m. ET. Will it be Josef Newgarden repeating after taking first place last year? Or can pole-sitter Scott McLaughlin win it all? Watch all the action to find out.

And yes, DIRECTV STREAM and its wide selection of top channels is perfect for watching the 2024 Indy 500. It carries NBC in its base Entertainment plan, along with top channels like ABC, CBS, and Fox, starting at $79.99. On top of a five-day free trial for all new customers, it also offers new users $25 off per month for their first two months of service on any plan. Even better for sports fans is that they can upgrade to the Choice plan to see their local NHL and NBA teams via regional sports networks.

If DIRECTV STREAM isn’t right for you, you can watch the 2024 IndyCar Indianapolis 500 Race with a live TV streaming service that carries NBC. You’ll find The Streamable’s advice on which one to choose below!

How to Stream 2024 IndyCar Indianapolis 500 Race

The 2024 IndyCar Indianapolis 500 Race is airing on NBC, which means Hulu + Live TV, DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo, and YouTube TV all carry the needed channel. Sling TV isn’t a great option because it only carries NBC in select markets.

Best Choice for Watching 2024 IndyCar Indianapolis 500 Race: Hulu + Live TV

If value and entertainment are high on your list, Hulu + Live TV is a great way to stream the 2024 Indy 500. A subscription at $76.99 per month or more gets you free access to the Disney Bundle ($14.99 per month), so you’ll be able to stream Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu to your heart’s content alongside the top channels offered by Hulu + Live TV. Plus, it carries all the channels you need to watch all the coverage all day long of the Indy 500. That kind of offering at that price point is why Hulu + Live TV ranks first on our list.

Great Choice for Sports Fans: Fubo

Fubo plans start at $94.99 per month, but that price includes the regional sports network (RSN) fee that most customers have to pay which gives you access to a ton of MLB, NHL, and NBA regular season games across multiple markets. It also carries top channels like NBC, CBS, Fox and ABC in its standard “Pro” plan so you can watch every second of the Indy 500 with this service. Remember that while it has a free trial, the length of that trial depends on what time of the month you sign up.

Last Option: YouTube TV

There’s nothing bad or wrong about YouTube TV, it’s a good live TV service overall; it just comes up a little shorter than the other services on our list. Plans start at $72.99 per month for this service, and while you will get all the channels you need to watch the 2024 Indy 500, you won’t get much in the way of free extras with this service.

Can You Watch The 2024 IndyCar Indianapolis 500 Race on Sling TV?

That depends on where you live. While the live streaming service does in fact carry NBC, it only does so in 11 major markets across the country: Boston, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Miami/Fort Lauderdale, Hartford/New Haven, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose, and Washington, DC. So, if you live in one of these regions, you are able to stream the 2024 Indy 500 on NBC, but if not, you should probably explore some of our other recommended options.
