NOW TV’s Latino plan grows to over 200 channels, adds ViX
Customers get the ViX Premium ad-supported plan at no extra cost with a NOW TV Latino subscription.
Comcast and Xfinity don’t just distribute linear TV packages; they also allow customers to subscribe to the NOW TV streaming service, which has a selection of popular cable channels you can watch with your home internet connection. NOW TV also offers a Latino plan packed with Spanish-language content, and that plan is getting a major update to include even more channels, as well as on-demand streaming content from one of the largest Spanish streaming outlets.
Key Details:
- Century mark: NOW TV Latino added 100 more streaming channels to its package.
- On-demand, too: ViX Premium is being added to NOW TV Latino as a no-cost benefit.
- Important catch: The price of NOW TV Latino is rising to $15 per month on Nov. 12.
On Monday, Comcast announced that the NOW TV Latino was growing in a big way. The package is adding 100 more streaming channels to its already-formidable count, and now the service’s package totals to 200+, with live sports, news, music, and telenovelas in plenty.
In addition to the extra channels, customers of the Now TV Latino plan will get access to the ViX Premium streaming service, delivering a large selection of on-demand content to the package. That service comes with additional sports and entertainment, bringing the count of live soccer matches from Liga MX, UEFA, CONCACAF, the English Premier League, and more leagues on NOW TV Latino to over 1,000.
“As we continue to deepen our commitment to Hispanic audiences, the expanded NOW TV Latino delivers even more of the content our customers love — from blockbuster movies and hit novelas to live fútbol and trusted news — all at an unbeatable price,” Comcast SVP Javier Garcia said. “With seamless access via our 4K Streaming Box and Xfinity Stream app, it’s never been easier to enjoy the best in Spanish and English-language entertainment.”
The Univision channel has joined NOW TV Latino as well, which gives customers another choice to watch the channel as they seek alternatives from YouTube TV. TelevisaUnivision is currently in a carriage dispute with YouTube TV, and Univision is blacked out on the streamer as of now.
There is one important caveat for viewers to keep in mind as they consider the NOW TV Latino plan: the price is going up. The package launched at a price of $10 per month, and will remain at that level until Nov. 12. On that date, it will increase to $15 per month — through the added value of a ViX Premium subscription should help offset that rise.

The “skinny bundle” is some of the more popular channels (like A&E, Discovery Channel, HGTV, TLC) at an easy-to-afford price and will appeal most to fans of NBC & lifestyle channels. It does not offer news, sports, or local channels, but you get access to NBC and some live sports through Peacock which NOW TV users get for free.
